the continued effort to keep trustees apprised of current metrics and trends
within the university, Mr. John Yancey, director of Admissions will present a
progress brief on current fall enrollments and the profile for this year’s
item is provided as a quarterly report to the Board of Trustees and describes
current progress on each project, funding sources, and any current issues,
including change orders.
Board authorized the President or his designee to approve change orders in the
name of the Board for pre-established amounts. Approvals are for the purpose of
expediting the work in progress and are to be reported to the Board and entered
into its official minutes.
President Shuman will address the committee and present this item.
Provost Traynham will
introduce two current students, Mr. Brandon Little and Ms. Sakwabo Williams,
and ask them to speak about their experiences with Transformational Learning
Brandon is a senior majoring in
Transportation and Logistics. He has participated in three internships, all
secured through various UNF Career Days. These internships include working as a
logistics analyst at Crowley Maritime Corporation, distribution operations at
the Target Distribution Center in Lake City, and Arizona Chemical where he was
tapped to build a rate-optimization tool.
Sakwabo is an International Business major
and worked with Commercial Services in Paris. She spent 12 weeks in Paris
promoting U.S. companies to other countries and participating in various trade
shows, including the largest food trade show in the world.
