Item 4 Schedule of Tuition and Fees (Attachment 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 )
The State Legislature passed an 8 percent tuition increase for in-state undergraduate students. In addition, the Legislature granted all universities the authority to charge undergraduate students up to 7 percent differential tuition. Universities also have the authority to increase in-state graduate tuition and out-of-state fees charged undergraduate and graduate students by 15 percent.
To support faculty lines needed to maintain a course schedule that will meet student needs the university recommends increasing in-state undergraduate and graduate tuition by 15 percent and increasing out-of-state fees by the same 15 percent.
Vice President Serwatka will address the Board and present the schedule of tuition and fees.
Proposed Action: Approval. Motion and second required.
