Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
General Information
The TOEFL measures English communication ability. The Office of Academic Testing administers the TOEFL internet-based test (iBT) year-round. The TOEFL (iBT) consists of the following four sections: reading, listening, speaking, and writing.
Testing Hours
TOEFL (iBT) is available on select Fridays at 8:00 a.m. by appointment only. Registration is available online or by calling the ETS TOEFL line at (800) 468-6335 (for locations inside the U.S., U.S. territories and Canada). Fees
The current registration fee for the TOEFL (iBT) in the United States is $180.
