Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

General Information

The TOEFL measures English communication ability.  The Office of Academic Testing administers the TOEFL internet-based test (iBT) year-round. The TOEFL (iBT) consists of the following four sections: reading, listening, speaking, and writing.


Testing Hours

TOEFL (iBT) is available on select Fridays at 8:00 a.m. by appointment only.  Registration is available online or by calling the ETS TOEFL line at (800) 468-6335 (for locations inside the U.S., U.S. territories and Canada).  For information regarding registration by phone for all other locations, registration by mail, or registration at TOEFL Resource Centers click here.

The current registration fee for the TOEFL (iBT) in the United States is $180. 


Special Instructions

Proper, valid identification is required to test. For further information including identification requirements; testing procedures and regulations; and available test dates, times, and locations visit the ETS TOEFL Web site.


Parking Information

All vehicles parking on the University of North Florida campus are required to have a valid parking pass. Test candidates can buy a parking pass at either of the Parking Services buildings found on your right as you enter campus. The parking fee is $5.


The closest parking lots to our building are Lot 2 and the Fine Arts Parking Garage. Be sure to give yourself ample time for parking as spaces are limited.
