Frequently Asked Questions:
When is Family Weekend typically held? We try to schedule Family Weekend in October when possible. In 2008, Family Weekend was held the third weekend in October.
Why aren’t families informed about the dates of Family Weekend earlier in the year? We strive to publicize the dates for Family Weekend as soon as possible so that families can begin planning; however, the dates are contingent upon the fall football schedules and Family Weekend dates at other Florida universities, religious holidays, available space on campus, and the schedules of our own athletic programs. For these reasons, we are often unable to schedule the event far ahead of time.
