STUDENT AFFAIRS MISSION
The four principles guiding the direction of the University of North Florida serve as the impetus from which the mission of the Division of Student Affairs is derived. The Division’s mission is to serve a diverse student body by promoting an educational environment that supports the University’s academic mission and recognizes the importance of learning outside the classroom. The Division encourages the holistic development-moral, spiritual, physical, and intellectual growth-within a global context.
The Division exists to support the University's academic mission by:
providing learning opportunities for students outside of the classroom,
reinforcing students' academic progress with support services available to all students,
assuring that the campus remains a safe living and learning environment
making available convenient, on-campus housing and other student facilities,
offering special student populations services tailored to their needs,
And presenting opportunities for:
learning about other cultures here and around the globe,
social activities and entertainment,
leadership development.
personal fitness,

study abroad,
