There's no place like UNF to make connections, seek out new experiences, and enjoy first-class events. Every day UNF students take part in concerts, lectures, workshops, film screenings, game nights, and countless other activities.
In addition, student clubs, fraternities and sororities, Student Government, the Residence Hall Association, and campus offices offer Ospreys endless opportunities to explore their interests and develop the skills they need to excel on campus and after graduation.
And when it's time to relax, our students can chill out in the Student Union's fully-equipped Game Room and eateries or lounge spaces offered by Student Affairs offices throughout campus.
Office of Campus Life
The Office of Campus Life designs and enhances opportunities for student participation in annual events, cultural and social activities, and co-curricular learning. Campus Life is part of the Division of Student Affairs and coordinates with over twenty specialized departments, units and facilities that provide enriching experiences and opportunities. These offerings advance the recruitment, retention and development of UNF students and the establishment of school pride rich in education and tradition. Semester Kickoff Programs (Week of Welcome, First Week, Summer B Kickoff)
The first week of a new semester is the best time to connect to school traditions and the social and cultural life of UNF. The Office of Campus Life produces Week of Welcome during the first week of the Fall Semester, First Week at the start of the Spring Semester, and Summer B Kickoff at the opening of the second summer session to provide opportunities for new students to make friends and familiarize themselves with the campus and for returning students to reconnect with their Osprey tradition.
Special Events & Promotion
Throughout the year, the Office of Campus Life collaborates with student organizations and University departments to put on events that are unique to life on campus. Many of these events are made possible by the Student Life & Services Fee. Check out UNF Campus Life on Facebook or Twitter for regular updates on campus events.
Ospreys Involved
Campus Life sponsors Ospreys Involved, an incentive program for students who want to get involved on campus. By checking in at selected events through the year, students earn points that can be used for a chance to win great prizes at the end of the spring semester.
