Withdrawal Policy
A
student may withdraw from a course or the University after the
end of the drop/add period through the last day to withdraw listed
in the Academic Calendar online or in the Web Guide. Beginning
Fall Term 2005 (September) students may withdraw at myWings from
the One Stop Student Services Channel under the Academics tab or
complete an official withdrawal request in the One Stop Student
Services or send a letter postmarked no later than the deadline.
A grade of W will be assigned and no refund is given. If a student
stops attending class and does not officially withdraw, a final
grade of F will be assigned. Withdrawals are not permitted once
grades have been posted for the term. If a student has documentable,
extenuating circumstances, a petition may be submitted for review.
After the close of the drop/add period, students who completely
withdraw from all courses for the semester
and have paid tuition in full will receive a 25% refund (less repeat
assessment, excess hour assessment, and building and capital and
improvement fees). This refund is dependent upon meeting the deadline
date indicated in the University Calendar as the last day to receive
a 25 % refund. The 25 % refund applies only to fall, spring, and
cross-term courses.
Withdrawing from class(es) does not relieve the student from
financial liability. Please refer to the refund
policy to determine your eligibility for a refund.
