- Employees of the state include employees of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of state government. Persons employed by a state university are not eligible for a State Employee Fee Waiver.
- A review of your employment eligibility will be conducted by Enrollment Services Processing at the time you submit your completed State Employee Fee Waiver form.

- In order to participate, state employees must be admitted to the University.
- State employees must meet current admissions criteria and application deadlines.

- Students may register for up to six hours of tuition-free courses.
- State Employee Fee Waiver students are not eligible for advanced term registration and may not register prior to the designated State Waiver registration date.
- Tuition will not be waived for the following types of courses:
- Thesis
- Dissertation
- Internship
- Directed Independent Study
- Non Credit
- Sponsored Credit
- Fees will only be waived for courses listed on the State Employee Fee Waiver form. State employees who wish to make a change to their registration after submitting the form to One Stop Student Services, must submit a new form with the new courses listed.
- Courses eligible for State Waiver are only available if space permits. Only after non-waiver students have registered, will you be able to register. Please be prepared for the possibility that your first choice of courses may be unavailable.
- You will be responsible for all fees for courses listed on your form that you register for prior to the State Employee Fee Waiver registration date.
- If you register before the State Employee Fee Waiver registration date and are put on a wait list, this course will not be eligible for State Employee Fee Waiver.
- If you register before the State Employee Fee Waiver registration date, drop the course, and register again on or after the State Employee Fee Waiver registration date, this course will not be eligible for a waiver.

- Make sure you have been admitted to the university by contacting One Stop Student Services at (904) 620-5555 or logging in to myWings, the student web portal.
- Complete a State Employee Fee Waiver Form. Please make sure you include an email address where you can be reached.
- Forms may be picked up from the UNF Human Resources office or printed from http://www.unf.edu/dept/humanres/forms/other/state_employee_tuition_waiver.pdf.
- This form must be completed and submitted to One Stop or faxed to (904) 620-2414 no later than the date listed in the above table. Please submit your form as early as possible.
- Once submitted, your form will be checked by Enrollment Services Processing for compliance with the eligibility requirements.
- Your fee assessment will show a balance for the approved classes until the fee waiver has been applied. The fee system generally updates during the week following Add/Drop.
- Register ONLY on the State Employee Fee Waiver registration date listed above. You may register online by accessing Student Self Service located on the Students tab within the myWings portal or register in person at One Stop Student Services.
