Advanced Term Registration (ATR)
provides most current
students with the opportunity to register for
Fall term immediately following summer registration.

What if I miss Summer Registration, but want to take classes?
If you miss summer registration, you may still register per the late registration guidelines during Summer A and C add/drop week.

When is Fall Registration?
Fall ATR begins by appointment the same day as Summer registration and is open through the end of Summer B add/drop week.

What if I miss Fall Registration, but want to take classes?
Fall registration will re-open in late July. State Waiver and Senior Citizen registration is the last business day prior to the first day of the semester. Add/drop week is the first week of the semester. Please see the Academic Calendar for specific dates.

What is advanced term registration?
Current students are able to register for Summer and Fall terms during the Summer registration cycle. Check the registration calendar for dates.

Am I a current student?
If you are currently enrolled in classes for Spring, or were enrolled in Summer or Fall last year, you are considered a current student.
International Students:
You will be permitted to register for both terms, but if you do not comply with the International Insurance Agreement you will be dropped from your classes prior to the start of the Fall term. For information contact Medical Compliance at 904-620-2175.

Who is not included in advanced term registration?
Because of various limitations, the groups listed below may not register for Summer & Fall together:
- Non-current students
- Senior Citizen Fee Waivers
- State Employee Fee Waivers
- Non-degree seeking students (e.g. transients, special)
- Students with CLAST hold

If I am eligible for advance term registration, does that mean that I can register for any fall term course?
Not necessarily. The registration system will check your eligibility to register for courses in programs with specific entrance requirements, such as:
- Education
- Graphic Arts & Multimedia
- Music
- Nursing
- Sports Medicine- Athletic Training
You must have met the prerequisite requirements and any other rules placed on the course by the department before you can register for a particular course.

If I am not eligible for advanced term registration, when will I register for fall classes?

If I want to take the Summer off, can I still register early for Fall?
Yes. If you are eligible for advanced term registration, you are strongly encouraged to register for Fall beginning in April or May during your registration appointment time.

Can I change my Fall schedule throughout the Summer?
No. Once Summer registration has ended, you will not be able to adjust your Fall schedule until the Fall registration cycle begins. View the Registration Calendar.

Will I receive a Fall appointment if I have already registered for Fall?
Yes. Modifications to the Fall schedule may occur during May, June, & July. During Fall registration you may wish to add, change or delete courses in your schedule. You will be able to change your schedule from the day and time of your Fall appointment through the end of drop/add.

Can I be dropped from a Fall course if I do not successfully complete the prerequisite?
If you receive a D or F, or withdraw from the prerequisite course during the Summer, you may be dropped from the Fall class at the discretion of the department.

How will I know if I am dropped from a Fall class?
If you have been dropped, the course will no longer appear on your schedule confirmation. Check your schedule confirmation before Fall registration ends to confirm your schedule.

If I enroll in a prerequisite course at another institution during the Summer, can I advance register for the course requiring the prerequisite?
At the discretion of the department offering the Fall class, you might be able to advance register for the course. At a minimum, the department will require a completed concurrent enrollment form and proof of enrollment in the prerequisite course (via schedule confirmation or fee slip from the other institution.) Proof of satisfactory completion of the prerequisite will be required to remain in the Fall course.

Will the Web Schedule list classes for both terms?
Yes. Course offerings for both terms will be on the web. Note: There may be modifications to the Fall schedule during the period when registration is closed to current students. Check the web schedule beginning the third week of July for the most up-to-date listing of courses.

Will there be any changes to the Fall schedule during the Summer?
Yes. You can access the schedule by clicking on Course Schedule from http://www.unf.edu/current.html or by clicking on MyWings Portal from www.unf.edu. Check the web beginning the third week of July for the most up-to-date listing of courses.

How do I access advanced term registration?
To access Summer or Fall Registration during ATR:
Log in to the myWings Portal. If you have not accessed the portal before, select "Need help logging in?" for login instructions. After logging in, select the Academics tab, then click "Banner Self Service".

Do I have to pay for both terms at the same time?
No.

Can I pay for both on at the same time?
No. Fees for Fall term will not be available until July. Check your fee assessment on-line after the third week of July.

Will I be able to advance register for Spring term during
regular Fall term registration?
No. Advanced term registration is intended to help currents
students set their Fall schedules before leaving campus
for the Summer. Spring and Summer terms will not be
available for early registration. |
