UNF STUDENT FAMILIES

UNF offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities for its students. Participation in recreational events and usage of recreational facilities is free to all students.

For a small fee, spouses and children of UNF students may also participate in UNF's recreation programs, excluding intramural sports. Family membership information is explained below

SPORTS FACILITIES: Family memberships are available to the following facilities: Aquatic Center (pool), Fitness Center (aerobic and weight equipment), and the Arena (basketball, volleyball, racquetball, and group fitness classes).

FAMILY MEMBERS ELIGIBLE TO JOIN: Only the spouse and/or children of the UNF student qualify for inclusion in a student family membership.

CHILD USAGE RESTRICTIONS: Children included in family memberships may be up to 21 years old and must reside with the UNF student. All child members are eligible to use the Aquatic Center, but Fitness Center and Arena usage is restricted to children who are at least 16 years old.

PARKING PERMITS: Member may purchase parking permit(s) for the duration of their membership. A fee is assessed for the replacement of a parking permit. Parking permits are valid for the North Lot (Lot 18) only.

MEMBERSHIP VALIDATION PERIODS: Memberships are valid only for the semester in which the student is currently enrolled. Membership fees will be pro-rated 25% when purchased mid-semester or later. Each time a student begins a new semester, he/she must re-register his/her family for membership.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT: Registration and payment for student family membership packages is handled through the UNF Aquatic Center. Students must present a current UNF I.D. card to register their families.

NOTE: Memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable, and subject to cancellation.
