Member Services Staff – "First Faces of the SWC"
Member Services Staff will greet and check-in members, answer the phone, operate point of sale, and give tours of the new facility.

Building Operations Staff
Building Operations Supervisors will maintain an orderly, clean and safe environment for the facility, while keeping track of all events and programs being held in the SWC. Building Supervisors will enforce facility rules and will also give tours when needed.

Climbing Wall Staff
Climbing Wall Staff will oversee the activities of climbers at the wall, ensuring they follow all wall policies and procedures, assist in the maintenance/cleaning of the wall, and spotting and belaying climbers.

Fitness Trainers
Fitness Trainers will teach/assist members how to exercise safely, efficiently and effectively and maintain a safe, clean workout environment. Students are hired and start off as a Fitness Fledgling who greet people, answer questions, spot lifters, correct improper lifting techniques, enforce facility rules, and clean. Upon completion of our training program and passing 2 written tests and 2 practical tests, shadowing a personal training session, and shadowing 2 orientations, the Fledgling is promoted to a Fitness Trainer. Fitness Trainers perform all duties of Fledglings plus are capable of designing workout programs and teaching/training the patrons. Upon passing a recognized Personal Training certification, Fitness Trainers can be promoted to Personal Trainer. Personal Trainers perform all duties of a Fitness Trainer, plus have the opportunity to do personal training.

Group Fitness Instructors
Group Fitness Instructors will lead a group exercise class in a safe, effective, challenging and engaging manner. A national certification is preferred, but not required. Teaching should not be viewed as "I am getting paid to work out." This is not your workout, this is theirs (the students’) and the focus should be on the students’ experience.
