    About Camp

The Youth Sports and Fitness Camp began in 1981 with the idea of keeping kids active all summer long. It is an all-sports camp that has a weekly sport theme along with a weekly field trip. Campers have access to our state-of-the-art Wellness Complex and participate in climbing wall, yoga, zumba, indoor track, and spinning activities all designed for fun and fitness. All of our activities are age appropriate and are designed so every camper has fun!

Health Insurance Required   You must have health insurance coverage for your child in order to register for camp.  Policy name and number will be required at registration.

All counselors are American Red Cross First Aid & CPR certified and have completed on-site training.

    Weekly Activities include:

    • Daily swimming*
    • Weekly sport
    • Sport skill instruction
    • Indoor / outdoor free play
    • Stretching
    • Group fitness classes
    • Weekly field trip

*Swimming is at a campus housing swimming pool.  Due to the limited capacity of this pool, camp groups will be scheduled on a rotating swimming schedule each week.  Swim lessons are not available.  Certified lifeguards are on duty.  US Coast Guard life jackets are provided to non-swimmers who do not pass the swim test.

For any lost items, please contact the Camp Director. Any items left after Friday, August 4, 2017 will be donated.

Camps are offered on a weekly basis. There will be 9 sessions available beginning June 5th.

Camp hours are from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Drop off time for camp begins at 7:30 a.m.

Campers must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. After 6:00 p.m., a $10 fee will be charged to your account for every 15 minutes late.

What is a theme?  Youth Sports and Fitness Camp is different from sport-specific camps that focus on a single sport.  Our camp offers campers exposure to a variety of sports and physical activity each week.  The theme identified for the week will be the main sport while other sports or physical activities will also be included.
