About Camp

It’s time to get ready for the 35th Annual UNF Youth Sports and Fitness Camp! Summer camp begins this year on Monday, June 13th and ends on Friday, August 5th.


 Weekly Activities include:                      

  • Daily swimming*
  • Weekly sport
  • Skill instruction
  • Indoor / outdoor free play
  • Stretching
  • Group fitness classes
  • Weekly field trip

*Swimming will be held at a campus housing swimming pool this year.  Due to the limited capacity of this pool, camp groups will be scheduled on a rotating swimming schedule each week.  Swim lessons are not available.  Certified lifeguards are on duty.  US Coast Guard life jackets are provided to non-swimmers who do not pass the swim test.

 Counselors: All of the counselors working the Youth Sports & Fitness Camp are American Red Cross First Aid & CPR certified and have completed on-site training.



8 sessions are available beginning June 13th.

Full-day Camp (5-14 age groups)

Camps are offered on a weekly basis. Camp hours are from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Drop off time for camp begins at 7:30 a.m. Campers must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. After 6:00 p.m., a $10 fee will be charged to your account for every 15 minutes late.   

i9 Sports Camp

i9 Sports will be offering a week of camp from August 8th to August 12th.  It will be an all sports camp with a heavy dose of Flag Football.  Please go the the following link (i9 sports) to learn more and to register.  Spaces are limited for this camp and are going fast so, register now!



2016 Parent Orientation

Parent Orientation will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, in the UNF Arena at 7:00 p.m.

Camp Fee Includes: 

  • Water bottle   
  • T-shirt   
  •  Field trip entry fee & transportation       




A lunch option is available for your camper. For an additional $35 per week a lunch will be provided each day, including bag lunches on field trip days. In addition to the menu possibilities below, there will also be a salad bar available every day with lettuce, carrots, celery, potato salad, coleslaw, chips, and fruit. Drinks are included. Payment for optional lunch is paid by separate check to the camp counselor the first day of camp or at the beginning of each week.



The optional lunch requires separate payment of $35 per week made payable to: Mayes Food Services. No camp discounts apply to the lunch program. Lunch payments are due the first day of camp each week.
