Keynote Speaker Provides Keys to Success During Administrative Conference

Author, motivational speaker, sales trainer and life coach Brad Raney will provide the keys to success during the 27th Annual Administrative Professionals Conference at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, at the University of North Florida’s University Center, Building 43.
During the one-day event, Raney will be presenting his VOWELS concept—the seven habits of success that correspond to A, E, I, O and U—as part of his opening keynote address. Kelly Mannel, principal of Image Partners, Inc., will deliver the lunch keynote speech on “Ethical Leadership for Professionals.” She will share industry best practices in organizational development through leading research on the emerging role of civility and emotional intelligence in the workplace.
The event also includes workshops taught by award-winning professionals in a variety of topics. Administrative assistants, office managers, executive assistants, clerks, secretaries, paralegals and meeting coordinators will benefit from several workshops, including “Improving Internet Search Skills,” “Writing Effective E-mail Promotions,” “Clear and Assertive Communication,” “Critical Thinking and Problem Solving” and “Putting Your Best Self Forward.”
Check-in begins at 8 a.m. and the event closes with prize drawings at 4:30 p.m. Cost of this conference, sponsored by UNF’s Division of Continuing Education, is only $199, if registered by Sunday, April 15, and includes all materials, breakfast and lunch. After April 15, registration increases to $219.
