UNF English Department Presents Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night'
Contact: Joanna Norris, Assistant Director
Department of Media Relations and Events
The University of North Florida’s Department of English will present William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 19, in the John E. Matthews Jr. Computer Science Building, Building 15, Room 1303, on the UNF campus.
Additional performances will be held at 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, with a matinee performance at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 21. General admission for the performance is $5 and $2 for students with a valid ID. Tickets are available at the UNF Box Office at (904) 620-2878.
The misadventures of shipwrecked twins Sebastian and Viola lead them deep into Illyria, where they encounter lovelorn Duke Orsino and grieving Countess Olivia. This beloved Shakespeare comedy, with its love triangles, role-playing, cross-dressing, drunken knights and singing, has it all! The crazy antics of Olivia’s household amuse and bewilder as the characters fall in and out of love in the topsy-turvy world of “Twelfth Night.”
