UNF Continuing Education Hosts Logistics Careers Workshop

The Division of Continuing Education at the University of North Florida will host a “Careers in Logistics Workshop” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, at the University Center on campus.
The free one-day program, funded by WorkSource, is designed to help those who want to enter the field of logistics. Participants will be introduced to various jobs and educational requirements for careers in logistics including: distribution; engineering; international logistics; inventory-materials management; IT; supply chain; third-party logistics; transportation; and warehousing.
Representatives from various logistics companies, including ICS Logistics, JAXPORT, Penser, Blue Streak, CEVA and CSX will be giving presentations during the workshop. There will also be educational representatives from UNF, FCCJ and Lake City Community College.
