Parents of Prospective Students
The choice of universities is one of the most important decisions your son or daughter will ever make. We are here to assist families with the transition to college and are happy to serve as your first point of contact to UNF. Whether this is your first experience with college or not, we know you have many questions about UNF.
In addition to visiting the Admissions Department, check out our Student Affairs Web site to see all the departments that provide services for our students. We have 28 departments, and know you will want to visit our student life section to learn how students get involved on campus, as well as housing operations to see our residence facilities.
Please feel free to contact us if you would like to speak with one of the members of the Parents Association to answer your questions.
Encourage your son or daughter to become an Osprey and find out why we say to them:
Parent Orientation Registration Now Open
At UNF, we believe that parents/guardians are an important partner in student success. Therefore, we would like to invite you to attend the Parent and Family members Orientation session and to participate fully in Orientation so that you may learn more about University policies and the resources that are available to UNF students. At no other event will you get as much information to give you a better understanding of your student’s campus experience at UNF. Click here for Parent Orientation Information on the Swoopapalooza website.
The Orientation dates
and the students checklist for reminders about what to do before Orientation
are on the New Student Orientation website.
Click here to review them with your
student before you attend Orientation.
The Parent Orientation registration form is available on the forms page.
