    Dear Osprey Families:

We know you’ve been looking forward to reuniting with your UNF student since the fall semester began, so we’ve created the perfect solution — our upcoming Family Weekend Oct. 20-22. Designed by UNF’s Parent and Family Programs staff to give you and your students plenty of time to interact, the weekend is filled with structured programs and free time, as well as opportunities to meet UNF staff, faculty and other parents.

The festivities will begin with the Welcome Reception at the Boathouse in the Student Union on Friday, Oct. 20, followed by a Family Picnic on Saturday. Saturday evening, our chef will prepare a special dinner just for the occasion. After dinner, the Parents Association will present their new Parent(s)/Family of the Year Award just before the entertainment begins in Lazzara Theater. We look forward to having a great time with all our UNF families. So please mark your calendar, make reservations for local accommodations and plan to join us for a fun-filled Family Weekend.

During your student’s time with us, the University and the Parents Association will create many more occasions for us to get to know you better and for you to learn more about UNF. We hope to see you often. For information regarding updated parent services, please contact the Office of Parent and Family Programs at (904) 620-1567 or parents@unf.edu
