Summer 2017 Research Retreat
The Office of Undergraduate Research is hosting it's first Summer Research Retreat!
When: Friday, July 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: The Museum of Science and History (MOSH) in Downtown Jacksonville
Who: All current and former UNF undergraduate and graduate students involved in research are welcome to attend
About the retreat
The purpose of this retreat is to facilitate discussion about your experiences and wants/needs regarding undergraduate research. The end goal is to come away with ideas and fresh perspective on how OUR can improve the research support available on campus. Another large goal of this retreat is for each person to make connections with folks that they wouldn't normally connect with; we would like to create a research community on campus and this retreat can be a great start. Several faculty members will also be attending the retreat as peers, not professors. We will have free food, tie-dying shirts, team building activities, and workshops. Most of this retreat was planned based on suggestions from students, so it is completely student oriented. We are very excited to connect with you all and to get some new ideas about undergraduate research! There are only 50 spots available and they are filling up fast so do not wait to register! Faculty wishing to attend should contact Kelsey Eagen.
