  • Writing Placement Exam - Certain incoming freshman students will be required to take the UNF Writing Placement exam prior to attending their scheduled orientation session. This exam is used to assist UNF’s academic advisors in correctly placing students in the appropriate English course. You will be notified if you must take this exam.
  • Foreign Language Exam - The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures encourages all future language students who have completed two or more years of high school French or Spanish, or who have significant language skills due to heritage or life experiences, to take the free online placement test. This test will place you at a level commensurate with your ability.
  • Math Placement Exam - Some incoming freshman students will be required to take the UNF online math placement exam. The exam must be completed prior to attending Orientation. You will be notified if you must take this exam.
