Boston Marathon Bombing Spurs Internet Scammers

The recent bombing of the Boston Marathon does not just mean an increased threat level across the world, but also introduces new and recycled Internet scams. Major events often attract malicious individuals who use the event for their gain. Based on previous tragedies, Internet scams will increase in the coming days. Students, faculty and staff need to apply due diligence before clicking links, visiting websites or making donations.
