Just as fluid
dries in the ink,
so the body vanishes,
except its trace
of legs.
Paint in
cool air
to delay
the drying.

The bristles
of your brush
melt together in ink
to create a stroke,
but the legs must
stay separated,
in proportion.
Good posture
no joke with
a great bug.
