Veteran Skills To Achieve Results (S.T.A.R.)

Veteran S.T.A.R. is a bi-annual program developed to help military veterans bolster professional skills and increase their chances of landing a job. Participants learn to present themselves well to employers during this free workshop, with expert advice on resume writing, interviewing, networking, job fairs, and more. Following the program, a networking social with local employers allows veterans to practice their newly refined professional skills on local area employers. The workshop is always free and includes lunch and a professional notebook. Veteran S.T.A.R. workshops are generously sponsored by Bob Jacoby.
