Ben's Guide to U.S. Government for Kids is brought to the World Wide Web as a service of the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO). This site provides learning tools for K-12 students, parents, and teachers. These resources will teach how our government works, the use of the primary source materials of GPO Access, and how one can use GPO Access to carry out their civic responsibilities.
This rich resource covers fiction and nonfiction works, story collections, picture books and magazines recommended for readers in preschool through sixth grade. Professional literature for the children's librarian—both periodicals and books—is also covered. Selected and recommended by collection development specialists, books within Children’s Core Collection encompass a wide variety of topics, including social sciences, science, math and reading.

Educator's Reference Complete is a selection of more than 450 full-text academic journals, hundreds of full-text reports, and many premier reference sources. Included content focuses on educational principles, child development and psychology, and best practices in education. Majority of the full-text titles included are also found in the ERIC database.
Access to fulltext articles from over 130 journals published by Emerald. Subjects covered include business and industry, education, library science, and engineering.

The English Short Title Catalogue (ESTC) lists over 460,000 items published between 1473 and 1800 mainly in Britain and North America. The items are mainly, but not exclusively, in English and are found in the collections of the British Library and over 2,000 other libraries.
The ERIC database
provides access to information from journals included in the Current Index of
Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index. The database contains
more than 1,194,000 records and links to more than 200,000 full-text documents
from ERIC. The database lists citations and abstracts for over 1,000
comprehensively indexed educational and education-related journals, primarily
American, along with some Canadian and British publications.
Effective October 1, 2004 more than 107,000 full-text non-journal documents (issued 1993-2004), previously available through fee-based services only, are available for free.

Mental Measurements Yearbook (MMY), produced by the Buros Institute at the University of Nebraska, provides users with a comprehensive guide to over 2,000 contemporary testing instruments. MMY reviews standard published tests in achievement, development, education, art, math, neuropsychology, personality, reading, vocations, and social studies. All MMY entries contain descriptive information (e.g., test purpose, publisher, pricing) and edited review(s) written by leading content area experts. To be included in the MMY, a test must be commercially available, be published in the English language, and be new or revised since it last appeared in the series. MMY provides coverage from Volume 9 to the present.
