SERIALS
CANCELLATION PROJECT
Due
to a 27 percent decrease in its book budget over the last two
years, the UNF Library is conducting a review of all serial
publications to identify possible cancellations. All academic
departments received a subject list in August 2002 for review
and priority ranking; potential cancellations were selected
from this review and also from four years of
use studies. Titles that were suggested as low priority or cancel
or had fewer than five uses in four years are listed below.
The Library
will cancel these titles unless compelling evidence is given
to keep the subscription. While we may cancel a print subscription,
many titles are still available in a full text electronic format.
(The Library has added over 12,000 full text journals to our
collection.) The Library Serials Cancellation Committee carefully
considered each title.
