SAVING YOUR WORK ON LIBRARY COMPUTERS
DOWNLOADING THE UNF STUDENT WebDRIVE

WHEN LOGGED IN WITH YOUR N#

  • Save your documents to the default folder set on library computers -- the H: drive.
  • This is your private/personal drive attached to your N# and is available from any computer on campus.
  • Look for your N# attached to the drive letter to make sure you are in the correct folder.
  • Files saved on the H: drive are also available from home if you download the UNF Student WebDrive.

Click on it to find Save, Print, etc.

WHEN LOGGED IN AS A GUEST

  • If you log in as a guest and save to the C: drive or the desktop, your work is not safe and is irrecoverable after reboot or logout.
  • Please save to a flash/thumb drive.
  • All workstations reboot after 30 minutes of inactivity.
  • Guest login: username=libguest | password=library

SAVING TO A THUMB/FLASH DRIVE

  • Click the Microsoft Office button at the top left of the screen.
  • Select "Save".
  • Click "Computer". You will see all the drives on the right of the screen.
  • You will see "removable disk" or the brand name of your flash drive.

STUDENT WEBDRIVE

  • UNF's Information Technology Services (ITS) provides software for you to download to your computer so you can access your secure network area (the H: drive) on UNF servers from on or off campus.
