OFF CAMPUS DATABASE ACCESS POLICY

Who is eligible?

  • Currently enrolled students and currently employed faculty and staff.
  • Students must have enrolled in a course through myWings for the current term or for the upcoming term to be eligible to use this service.
  • This applies to summer also. If a student attended classes in the spring, is not attending summer classes, but is enrolled for the fall, the student is eligible to access databases.

Who is not eligible?

  • Special borrowers with library cards. These cards only allow borrowing library items - not remote access to databases. Database access from within the library is always allowed.
  • Students and faculty of the College of Continuing Education are not permitted to use library databases from off-campus.
  • Alumni with special borrowing privileges are not eligible. Access in the library is always available.
  • Anyone who is not a member of the UNF faculty or staff, or is not currently enrolled at UNF.
