Third Floor

The third floor of the library houses the Documents Department and Collection, the Periodicals Department and Collection, and the library's Special Collections and Archives. Both Documents and Periodicals provide assistance most of the time the library is open. Access to Special Collections is by appointment only.

Although the library's Periodicals Collection is on the third floor, researchers hoping to find information in magazines and journals should begin their research by using the 2nd floor Electronic Library. Here they can access any of the library's many online periodical databases and also take advantage of excellent research assistance and training at the Reference Services desk.

The library still maintains a collection of print indexes and abstracts, but the majority of these are now available online. Ask for help at the Reference desk.
