Announcing UNF LGBT Resource Center Scholarships

Jack Slaughter and Sam Jacobson Endowed Scholarship

Deadline: Wednesday, May 20, 2015

Jack Slaughter and Sam Jacobson, a Jacksonville couple, generously support this annual scholarship.

 

This $1,000 award ($500 Fall/$500 Spring) will be granted to one full-time UNF undergraduate student. Preference is given but not limited to students who are members of the UNF Pride Club and students who register at the LGBT Resource Center. There are several criteria for application, including: students must reside in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau or St. Johns county and must independently support themselves. UNF Building Bridges, Creating Community Scholarship for Full-Time Students

Deadline: Wednesday, May 20, 2015

This $2,000 award ($1,000 Fall/$1,000 Spring) will be granted to four full-time UNF undergraduate students who have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate financial need. Students must remain in good standing and comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus. Emily Rokosch Creating Change Scholarship

The Emily Rokosch Creating Change Award is awarded tostudent leaders at the University of North Florida to attend the National Conference on LGBT Equality: Creating Change. Up to $1,000 is awarded on a need and merit basis to one or more students. The award is named after Emily Rokosch, the founding coordinator of the LGBT Resource Center.
