Love Without Limits

Peer Discussion Group

Love Without Limits is a student-led discussion group with topics surrounding issues faced by bisexuals, pansexuals, fluid, queer, questioning, and non-labeling individuals on campus. Some of the topics discussed in our meetings are monosexism, biphobia, erasure, health disparities among non-monosexuals, and how we can make our communities more inclusive for everyone. Safe space rules apply and participants are encouraged to be open and expressive.

The group meets weekly on Wednesdays from 3:00pm to 5:00pm in the LGBT Resource Center Queer & Ally Lounge. For more information please email Angel Kalafatis.

*Please note that Love Without Limits is a peer-led discussion group and that there is no mental health counselor or other accredited professional present.

Support and Discussion Group Policy

All support and social group participants must be currently enrolled in classes at the University of North Florida. Special considerations will be made for college students at FSCJ, JU, or another college/university. One-time exceptions may be made for visitors by contacting Kaitlin Legg, Director, at k.legg@unf.edu at least one week prior to preferred visit. A one-time exception is not necessarily guaranteed.

The primary mission of these groups, as well as the UNF LGBT Resource Center, is to support LGBTQIA college students. Due to increasing attendance and need, the Center can no longer support community members within social groups. In addition to the scope of the Center’s mission, social groups also must follow safety and confidentiality agreements and safe space guidelines, which restrict most areas of service to college students and the campus community.
