About the Pantry Lend-A-Wing Logo

In the Summer of 2011, the Volunteer Center created a new initiative. Based on the high level of need for financial aid, the Volunteer Center decided to adopt the concept of an on-campus food pantry which became available to students on April 3, 2012. The Lend-A-Wing Pantry, located on the first floor of UNF Hall (Bldg. 53) near the Cashier’s Office is an anonymous food pantry that allows UNF students to get the food and hygiene products they need without any form of payment with a flash of a UNF ID (this is done to make sure the individual is a student at the University, however identifiable information is not recorded). Students are permitted to take up to five pounds of items per day. The LAW Pantry remains open with the support of gracious donors and student volunteers. The LAW Pantry also hosts educational workshops throughout the semester which incorporate helpful tips how to stay on budget while maintaining a healthy diet.

The Spring 2015 hours for the pantry are:

Monday: 1-4pm

Tuesday: 12-3pm

Wednesday: 1-4pm

Thursday: 12-3pm

Friday: Closed

*Hours may vary. Please refer to Lend-A-Wing's Facebook for day-to-day information and changes in hours.

*If you are not able to visit the pantry during the normal hours of operation you may email or call the pantry to set up a time outside of the normal hours to visit the pantry.
