Athletic Academic Progress Report

The Athletic Academic Support Services (AASS) department is responsible for monitoring academic progress for athletes and offering support services when needed.  To do this, academic progress reports are requested from faculty at specific times in fall and spring semesters based on the part of term in which classes are taken.  This application allows AASS staff members to view a list of the athletic academic progress report records created for the term selected.  Additional parameters can further filter the list.  Staff can open an individual student record by selecting the “Student ID” hyperlink.  Within the student’s record, an email can be sent to faculty members for a specific course.  The list can also be exported to Excel for further analysis.

Intended Audience/Users: Athletic Academic Support Services.

The UNF Employee can develop the letter without the student seeing it until it is complete. The UNF Employee is able to view the letter, as the student would see it, for accuracy and formatting. The letters are built in Banner using GTVPARA, GUAPARA, and GTVLETR.

Any other letters entered in Banner may also be viewed here.

Student Conduct Disclosure Hold

In an effort to maintain a secure and safe educational, social, and workplace environment for the UNF community, the Division of Student & International Affairs updated the Student Conduct Code policy in October 2009 to include a requirement that all students self-report being convicted and/or charged with a criminal offense within 30 days of any convictions or charges related to a criminal offense other than minor traffic offenses. To facilitate delivery of this information, an informational hold is placed on all registered students at three weeks into the term.

When the student then views their holds, there is a link to the Student Conduct Disclosure form where the student indicates whether they have had an offense or conviction and, if so, whether it has been reported to Student Affairs. After completing the form, the informational hold is automatically lifted.

For additional information, the Holds process documentation can be viewed in the ‘How Things Work’ section of the Enterprise Systems webpage.

Work Hours Survey

Students will receive a hold prompting them to answer two questions related to the average number of hours worked per week both on and off campus.

The questions will only be available during the registration dates for the upcoming term and will prompt the student to think of hours worked in the term prior to the registration term. Each question will offer a range of hours in five hour increments and the answers will be identical for both on and off campus questions. Students will need to respond to each question to accommodate those who work both on and off campus.

The hold job and request for feedback will be for undergraduate degree-seeking students only (exclude PB, TS, SN,ZN, DB, DE, EA, PG and GR students).
