Experiential Learning Transcript

There are four menu items related to the Experiential Learning Transcript:

  • Enter NEW Activity and initial Learning Experience for that Activity:

To create an Experiential Learning Transcript, the student must enter Learning Experiences.  Learning Experiences include a learning activity, associated event/organization, experience description, learning outcomes, and a reflection/explanation where the user explains what was learned and how it may have changed them.

  • Enter an Additional Experience/Outcome to a previously submitted Activity:

Once a Learning Experience is entered, additional learning outcomes may be attached to the existing experience.

  •  Edit Learning Experiences:

The student can view all Learning Experiences/Learning Outcomes that have been entered.  If the learning experience has not been approved, the student can select the learning experience and make changes.  In some cases, the Validator will not approve the learning experience and will add comments instructing the student to make changes.

  •  View Experiential Learning Transcript:

When Learning Experiences have been approved by the Validator and Student Affairs, then the student can view them on the Experiential Learning Transcript.  This is an unofficial view of the student’s Experiential Learning Transcript.
