Intergroup Dialogue

Intergroup Dialogue, a component of the Institute for Values, Community and Leadership (IVCL), is a program at UNF that brings together individuals from two or more social identity groups in a facilitated co-learning environment. The program is designed to help students, faculty and staff build the skills and knowledge needed to take part in and to lead multicultural group interactions.

There are currently two opportunities for Intergroup Dialogue involvement at UNF:

Students –  The Intergroup Dialogue course is open to all undergraduate students for elective credit. This course also satisfies selected requirements for the Leadership Certificate and Leadership Minor. Visit the Students page to learn more.

Faculty and Staff – Workshops and professional development opportunities are periodically offered for UNF employees. Visit the Faculty/Staff page to learn more.

The Intergroup Dialogue Committee includes representatives from the Disability Resource Center; Institute for Values, Community and Leadership; Intercultural Center for PEACE; Interfaith Center; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center; Women’s Center and the University Conduct Office.
