UNF English Department Sponsors Project Heal One-Act Play

The University of North Florida’s Department of English, in conjunction with The Dean’s Leadership Council, is sponsoring “Project Heal” at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 15, at the UNF Andrew Robinson Theater.

This original one-act play, written by UNF senior Annamaria Abad, addresses the taboo-laden subject of date rape. Abad, an English major, is the recipient of a Dean’s Transformational Learning Scholarship awarded for play development.

The performance, featuring UNF students, will be followed by a panel discussion addressing issues raised by the play. The event is free and open to the public.
