staff. He has spent his entire career working at NCAA Division I institutions
and served as a department director at three previous
universities.
“We are thrilled to
have Brian joining the UNF Athletic Department staff and leading our media
relations efforts,” said Moon. “He has a tremendous amount of experience in
athletic communications and has a strong understanding of how things operate at
the Division I level. His work ethic and passion for college athletics will be a
huge asset for our entire department as we continue to move

Morgan’s role at UNF

relations department including development, execution and oversight for all
athletic department communication initiatives. In addition to managing the
athletic media relations staff, Morgan will serve as the primary media contact
for the Osprey men’s basketball and men’s golf programs.
“This is a tremendous
opportunity to be part of something extremely special,” said Morgan. “I am very
appreciative of Coach Moon and the UNF administration for this chance to be a

university as a whole and athletics specifically is what really captured my
attention. I embrace and look forward to working with the rest of the staff in
building a championship-producing organization both and off the
field.”
Morgan comes to UNF
after serving as the Sports Information Director at Alabama State University in
Montgomery, Ala. Before his stint at ASU, Morgan spent four years as the

basketball coach Mark Gottfried and current Ole Miss head football coach Houston
Nutt.
Morgan began his
