The University of North Florida Foundation Board recently added nine new members.
The new members are:
Edward E. Burr . president and CEO of LandMar, Jacksonville.
Mary Lou Fiala . president and chief operating officer of Regency Centers Corporation, Jacksonville.
Paul R. Goodwin . trustee for the National Railroad Retirement Investment Trust, Washington, D.C., director of Manhattan Associates Inc., Atlanta, and director of Horizon Lines LLC., Charlotte.
Melanie Jennings Husk . president and executive creative director of Husk Jennings, Jacksonville.
Susan Remmer Ryzewic . president and CEO of EHR Investments Inc., Ponte Vedra Beach.
Patricia “Patsy” P. Shields . philanthropist and community activist.
Charlie Tomm . president and chief operating officer of Coggin Automotive Group, Jacksonville.
Chris A. Verlander . senior vice president of corporate development for Associated Industries of Florida, Tallahassee.
Dr. Floyd Willis . family practice physician for the Mayo Clinic and vice president of the Duval County Medical Society.
The Foundation Board provides counsel and financial support for the University. The nonprofit, tax-exempt board also works to strengthen UNF’s community ties and to increase private contributions to the University. Board members serve three-year terms.
