Program Brings Faculty to Residence Halls
Dr. Michael Hallett, a professor of criminal justice, will visit one of UNF’s residence halls on Thursday, Oct. 16, to talk about his research on the television show “COPS.” His presentation is part of a program that draws faculty to the residence halls to interact with students. The program has proved popular with faculty and students.
Hallett will talk about his article "Backstage with COPS," which explored what the actual officers thought of the portrayal of police work on the show. Hallett says the students enjoy this presentation, and it allows him to interact with students and to give them insight into the criminal justice program.
