Let Us Play Sports Camp: March 18-21


More than 200 girls will learn the importance of self-esteem, health, fitness and how sports can improve their lives during this four day camp in session from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at the UNF Arena and athletic fields. For more information contact Leah Barker at 249-2203.



Music at Midday: March 25


The Music at Midday Concert series presents Deborah Heller, flute, and friends on Monday, March 25 at noon in the Fine Arts Center Small Recital Hall.



Issues in Organ Transplants for HIV Patients: March 26


There will be symposium on the ethical issues of organ transplants for individuals infected with HIV on Tuesday, March 26 at 7 p.m. in the University Center. Featured participants are Drs. Gavin Divertie and Chris Hughes of the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville.



The Wilkins Event: March 27


Adults with disabilities will attend a UNF baseball game for fun, food and games on Wednesday, March 27 at 4 p.m. behind the baseball stadium. Sponsored by the Wilkins Foundation along with the Student Council for Exceptional Children.



Irish folklore by Eilis Ni Dhuibhne: March 27-28


There will be lecture on Irish folklore by folklorist/fiction writer, Eilis Ni Dhuibhne on Wednesday, March 27 from 4:30-5:45 p.m. in the Robinson Center, Room 1700. She will also introduce and read excerpts from her fiction on Thursday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Robinson Theatre. Admission is free A reception and book signing will follow.



2002 Disaster Preparedness Seminar: March 28


Learn the practical steps of how your company can be prepared for a disaster of any kind and reduce the effect on you and your business with a disaster preparedness seminar on Thursday, March 28. Hear how Jacksonville is equipped to deal with a disaster including from recovery to contingency plans. Find out what steps area businesses are taking to protect against terrorism. The event is sponsored by JEA, Cingular Wireless, American Red Cross, The Business Journal, Duval County Emergency Preparedness.
