Congratulations to:
Dr. Annabel Brooks, public relations manager for the Division of Student Affairs and founding adviser for the UNF chapter of Alpha Sigma Pi, and DeeAnne Crookham, event coordinator for the Women’s Center and co-adviser for the UNF Chapter of Alpha Sigma Pi, were honored at the first annual induction ceremony of the National Society of Leadership and Success at UNF for her role in bringing Alpha Sigma Pi to the UNF Campus. Congratulations also to Sandy Bernreuter of the Department of Chemistry and Physics. As co-adviser to Sigma Alpha Pi, she is an important element in the Society’s success. The UNF Chapter of Alpha Sigma Pi is comprised of UNF students who are interested in studying and implementing the principles of leadership and success. The Society guides individuals through the process of identifying and committing to focused and dedicated actions that lead to their personal success.
The Groppers, Richard (Athletics) and Ida (Center for Professional Development and Training), who celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary last month.
Dr. Fred Pragasam and his UNF SIFE team for once again winning the Regional Championship in Orlando last month with some tough opponents from Florida, Louisiana and Missouri. The SIFE team is headed for Chicago May 12 for the national championship.
Linda Sciarratta on the birth of her fifth grandchild. Cohen William, first son to Cristi and Kevin Whitham, was born Feb. 21, weighing 9 pounds, 2 ounces and measuring 21.5 inches long.
Anne Law Sheridan (Coggin College Study Abroad) married James Fugard last month in New York’s Central Park.
