Caring Awards
Each year since 1992, student nominees have been solicited to receive two prestigious awards to embody the spirit of caring, volunteerism, and humanitarianism. Five finalists are chosen for each award and invited, with one guest, to an awards luncheon.
Hugh Jones
These esteemed awards have been made possible through the generosity and establishment of an endowment by Hugh Jones, friends of Albert D. Ernest, Jr. and Bank of America (formerly Barnett Bank of Jacksonville, N.A.) for the Albert D. Ernest, Jr. Caring Award and Bill and Angie Halamandaris for the Caring Internship at the Heart of America Foundation.
