Shari A. Shuman

Occupation:

  Vice president of Administration and Finance at UNF and treasurer of the UNF Foundation;  previously worked for the City of Jacksonville, serving in a number of financial and leadership roles, including chief of staff for the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission, city treasurer and city comptroller 


Education:

  B.S. in accounting from the University of Florida and master’s of public administration degree from UNF; is also a Certified Public Accountant specializing in public sector financing 


Activities:

 Serves on the boards of River Garden Hebrew Home for the Aged and the Jacksonville Jewish Center where she chairs the Investment Committee; also vice president of youth at the Jacksonville Jewish Center and on the board of the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville   


Personal:

  She and husband David have two children: Amy and Jenna.
