  Jacksonville lawyer specializing in civil litigation; previously a registered nurse specializing in intensive care nursing; lectures as an adjunct professor at UNF’s Brooks College of Health

Education:

  Nursing degree from UNF (summa cum laude) and law degree with honors from the University of Florida

Activities:

  Served on numerous legal committees including chair of The Florida Bar’s Civil Procedure Rules Committee and chair of the Code of Rules of Evidence Committee; chair of the Jacksonville Bar’s Professionalism Committee; governor of the New Lawyer’s division of the American Trial Lawyer Association; currently  serves on  The Florida Bar’s Rules of Judicial Administration Committee;  is a master in the Chester Bedell Inn of Court;  member of UNF Brooks College of Nursing Dean’s Advisory Council, steward of the Jacksonville Community Council and trustee emeritus for the University of Florida College of Law.
