Faculty/Staff Participation and Support
University of North Florida's 1900 employees commit themselves everyday to making UNF the best it can be: for the students, for each department and academic program, for the community, and for their efforts.
What is the Faculty/Staff Drive?
It's an opportunity for faculty and staff to provide support to areas of UNF they feel are important. Any gift, no matter the size, is greatly needed and appreciated, and 100 percent of each gift goes to the area designated. Gifts are not taxed to cover fund-raising costs. Your gift matters.
Why do faculty and staff support UNF?
There are many reasons why UNF employees support the university. Most faculty and staff know that their contribution is an impressive statement to the many constituents of UNF. Current students and alumni look to all employees to set an example. Corporations and foundations from which UNF seeks funds judge us by our willingness to help ourselves through our own philanthropic support. Why should I support UNF?
Because you have a vested interest in the success of UNF. Your gift is your vote of confidence in the university and the work being done. It is not the amount of the gift but the gift itself that matters most. Faculty and staff dedicate themselves daily to high quality teaching, research and quality service, and private support has become increasingly important in that endeavor.
How does payroll deduction work?
Specify the amount you wish to be deducted from each paycheck on the Faculty & Staff contribution. The minimum deduction is $1 per pay period. Forward your completed form to the office of Annual Giving.
