Nature of Work:
This is work assisting with the management of maintenance programs for the university.
Determines training program needs.
Plans and carries out scheduling of maintenance projects.
Assists in budget planning and recommends operating policies and procedures.
Develops and implements a preventative maintenance program.
Supervises renovation and construction projects and prepares cost estimates.
Completion of an approved apprenticeship program or multiple trades and two year of experience directly
related to the job functions; or a high school diploma and five years of experience directly related to the job
functions. Directly related college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an
equivalent rate for the required experience.
