Irrigation Technician

Nature of Work:

This is work installing, repairing or operating the university’s irrigation systems.


Typical Responsibilities:
  • Corrects malfunctions, broken pipes, sprinkler heads, and programs controllers.
  • Performs in field repairs of irrigation systems.
  • Performs preventative maintenance according to schedules.
  • Performs routine cleaning, maintenance, servicing of assigned equipment.

Basic Qualifications:

High School and one year of experience directly related to the job functions. Directly related college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
