Grants Spec

Nature of Work:

This is work assisting with administrative and fiscal activities associated with contracts and grants.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Serves as liaison with contract and grant sources.
  • Monitors daily contract and grant project activities.
  • Maintains required files and records for grant projects.
  • Orders and maintains supply inventory necessary to facilitate grants.
  • Assists with compiling reports for Principal Investigator or grant agencies.
  • Processes travel documents, reimbursements in accordance current policies and guidelines.
  • May assist in the preparation of contracts.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma and four years of experience directly related to the job functions. Directly related college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
