Business Systems Spec



Nature of Work:

This is work providing analytical and technical support in the maintenance of the University’s business systems applications.


Typical Responsibilities:

  • Assists in determining appropriate systems solutions.
  • Maintains communications with other departments and vendors on departmental business needs.
  • Implements new applications and modules; troubleshoots and tests system problems and enhancements; assist users in developing and designing reports.
  • Facilitates use of systems application to satisfy need of the department and other users.
  • Conducts analysis and research on new business process applications, hardware, and enhancements.


Basic Qualifications:

A high school diploma and six years of experience directly related to the job functions. Directly related college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
