Academic Support Spec

Nature of Work:

This is work supporting faculty and academic staff related to budget and personnel records and/or issues.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Assists in processing the appropriate Visa’s for faculty.
  • Processes documents related to faculty appointments and employment contracts.
  • Coordinates faculty orientation with departments.
  • Maintains faculty personnel files.
  • Assists in commencement planning and execution.
  • Monitors and log all personnel action items in Academic Affairs.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma and four years of experience directly related to the job functions. Directly related college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
