Nature of Work:
This is work performing complex administrative duties. Typically reports to Vice President, Dean or above.
- Composes correspondence and other documents on a wide variety of subjects.
Recommends and implements policy for program operations and advises management on the interpretations, applications and implementation of new or revised rules, policies and procedures.
Performs administrative projects for management.
Compiles annual budget requests; maintains financial records and provide periodic reports and statistical data.
Researches and compiles background data; maintains records and files regarding department administrative activities.
May manage human resources/payroll processes for the department or division.
- May coordinate or process one or more intermittent university-wide activities.
High school diploma and seven years of experience directly related to the job functions. Directly related college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
